BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED AT LAKE SOMERVILLE ON WARRANTS
A Brenham man has been taken into custody on outstanding warrants, while at Lake Somerville.
According to police, 43-year old Lanny “Lance” Carpenter of Brenham was at Welch Park at Lake Somerville, Thursday evening.
Carpenter was wanted on two active warrants out of Washington County for; Evading Arrest with Previous Convictions and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
With the assistance of Game Warden Kyle Yoder, members of Brenham’s Crime Reduction Unit took Carpenter into custody.
During a search of Carpenter, Yoder discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Carpenter was taken to the Washington County Jail.
