FIRST FRIDAY FARMER AND ARTISAN MARKET RETURNING TO DOWNTOWN BRENHAM
Right at two dozen vendors will be set up in downtown Brenham this (Friday) afternoon for the first First Friday Farmer and Artisan Market since March.
From 3 to 7 p.m. on Baylor Street, shoppers will be able to peruse different varieties of homemade and handmade goods, including arts and crafts, cooking ingredients and sauces, fresh produce, bath products, pet treats, and even ice pops.
To keep in line with COVID-19 guidelines, signage will be placed around the vendors reminding patrons to keep their distance from one another, regularly wash their hands, and wear masks if possible. Visitors will also not be able to sample food or bring pets.
In addition, the number of shoppers inside a booth will be limited to two at a time, and there will be separately marked browsing and shopping areas. Touching of merchandise without the intent to purchase will also be discouraged.
