WASHINGTON CO. REPORTING 218 POSITIVE COVID-19 CASES, 115 RECOVERIES
Washington County’s total COVID-19 case count sits at 218 and its active count at 76, after seven new cases were reported Wednesday.
Four men and three women made up Wednesday’s new cases, with six patients from Brenham and one from the old Washington area, ranging in age from their teens to their 80s. One previously identified case was removed after county officials discovered the patient was not a county resident.
Three new recoveries were reported, bringing the county’s total of recovered cases to 115. Five patients remain hospitalized, while 27 have died from virus-related complications.
One of Wednesday’s recoveries was a case from the Brenham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (BNRC), which now has 57 recovered cases. Of the facility’s 111 positive cases, consisting of 87 residents and 24 employees, 30 cases are active. No patients are currently hospitalized, while 24 have died.
The county, as of Wednesday, has performed an estimated 2,336 COVID-19 tests, with 223 of them at the BNRC.

It’s time to stop the count!! Enough, if you are still scared of a virus 99.74% of people will recover from then stay home!! I think everyone caught on that you can’t catch it at HEB, Walmart, or Lowe’s so we’re OK……Now just let everything else open up and do away with the great maskcapade!!!
