KWHI WEBSITE GETS MAKEOVER
NEW DESIGN MORE MOBILE-FRIENDLY
KWHI’s website has taken on a new look.
Saturday afternoon, KWHI made the switch to a newer, more modern layout for its website, www.kwhi.com. The website change is the first since October of 2013, and the second since the site opened in 1998.
KWHI Chief Engineer and IT Manager Mark Whitehead says the change makes the website friendlier to mobile users, which he says make up 60 to 70 percent of the site’s viewers. He said mobile users should be able to more easily see the photos included with articles while scrolling through the website.
Visitors to the site will still be able to listen to live programming through the website, including our daily newscasts and sportscasts, the Country Store, Rush Limbaugh, Real Country, and local sporting events. They will also continue to be able to post comments on our website.
The website will remain free of charge to all visitors.
It looks good took me awhile to adjust to but it’s good. Not really a fan of change but it’s good different to look at.
Great job on the updated website KWHI staff and all who contributed to this wonderful change.
Brenham is a simple little town with great people who care and we run into at all local places so let’s put all this nonsense behind us and be an example for others that some change is good if it benefits us as a whole but leave the past in the past because it is called that for reason!
Anyway “Great New Look!” it’s easy to read and we are kinda spoiled to have all the latest news that sometimes is taking for granted so I’ll thank y’all for everything as a whole family!
I sure like it. Nice surprise Sunday when I saw it. Love the visible Weather layout. Good job !
