SPEC’S IN BRENHAM CLOSES AFTER EMPLOYEE TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
Spec’s Liquor Store in Brenham has temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
The store received word of the positive test around 1 p.m. this (Friday) afternoon, and closed its doors soon after. An employee at the store told KWHI that the affected employee last worked Thursday.
All other employees and vendors that have been or may have been exposed are being notified. The store will further its cleaning and sanitation procedures while it is closed.
The store is waiting on test results from other employees that may have come into contact with the affected employee.

Would that be Thursday as of 2 days ago or the previous Thursday?
What about the customers that may have come in contact with the affected employee???
What if you shopped there recently. Should we be tested?
I commend Spec’s for contacting KWHI and advising them of the situation. Anyone who may have done business at Spec’s has a right to know so they can take any precautions necessary. My question is, why couldn’t Discount Tire have done the same thing? Do they not care to inform the public so anyone that had been there in the last several days could possibly take what ever precautions they feel necessary?
Panic level RED ! Everyone stay home and wait for the angel of death. No groceries no fast food , nothing !
Knock it off. People have a right to know they may have come in contact with a deadly virus. If you think that it is nothing to worry about, go out without a mask and continue your life, without washing your hands or taking precautions. Just don’t complain when you get sick.
