“DOVEY” NAMED PET OF THE WEEK
The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has again named “Dovey” as its Pet of the Week.

Dovey, a three-year-old Lab/Pittie mix, is one of the animal shelter’s longest residents. Staff say she is a happy and fun girl with a compact yet solid frame. She loves to roll around in the grass, so her ideal home would have a large, fenced yard.
Staff say Dovey is heartworm positive, but they will get her started on treatment once she has been placed with a home. She has also finished raising her pups.
The Brenham Pet Adoption Center is still closed to visitors, but anyone interested in adopting or fostering a pet can see the shelter’s available pets online at www.petfinder.com. They can also make appointments to meet a pet by calling 979-337-7351, or by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page. Appointments are being taken Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
