Ryan Blaney held off a furious charge on the final lap to win the Talladega 500 Monday by less than a tenth-of-a second.

Blaney nipped Ricky Stenhouse Jr. at the finish line for his fourth win and first since Talladega last October.  Third place finisher Aric Almorola crossed the line backwards as a slew of cars were sent skidding and spinning across the finish line.

"Just trying to block, block the best we could," Blaney said. "Block the top, block the bottom ... just beating and banging to the line."

The race was run Monday, due to a rainout Sunday afternoon.  The Monday race included a 58-minute rain delay.

Prior to the race, dozens of drivers pushed the car belonging to Bubba Wallace to the front of the field before Monday's race at Talladega Superspeedway, one day after a noose was found in his garage stall.

Wallace was surrounded by all 39 other drivers in the moments before the race, and they were joined by their crews in a march down pit road as they pushed his No. 43 to the front of the line.
