CRANE SAYS $$$ LOST DUE TO CORONAVIRUS COULD AFFECT ASTROS IN 2021
Astros team owner Jim Crane says the losses due to the coronavirus are significant, in the "tens of millions" of dollars.
Crane says the losses could even impact next year and how he decides to invest in the team. But he said because the Astros have done so well financially over the last few years, they should still be competitive in free agency.
The entire outfield -- Michael Brantley, Josh Reddick and 2017 World Series MVP George Springer -- could be gone after this season. First baseman Yuli Gurriel, now 36, will also hit the market after the 2020 season.
