POLICE MAKE MULTIPLE ARRESTS IN BELLVILLE VEHICLE THEFTS
Four suspects believed to be connected to a string of vehicle thefts in Bellville are in custody after they were apprehended in a stolen vehicle in Bryan.

Monday, Bellville police reported two vehicles were stolen late Sunday night. One of the vehicles, a black Chevrolet Equinox, was recovered later Monday by Bryan police. The vehicle was occupied by two adults and two juveniles, who fled but were all captured.
The two adults, 18-year-old Jecorius Travon Kennedy and 18-year-old Brandon Jamaal Hollis, both of Bryan, were booked into the Brazos County Jail on charges of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, and various drug offenses. The juveniles, one of which was wearing an ankle monitor, are also being processed.

Bellville police say they will be seeking charges against the subjects for the recent auto thefts within the city, extending back to June 19th where three trucks were stolen. A total of five vehicles in Bellville, including those from the 19th and Sunday night, have been stolen, but all vehicles have been recovered.
Police previously reported a truck stolen from Bryan was recovered early last week in Bellville, while a vehicle stolen in Hempstead was recovered Monday morning in Bryan.
Investigation is ongoing.
