BLINN SETS NEW SUMMER II ENROLLMENT RECORD
NEW RECORD MARKS ENROLLMENT HIGH FOR EACH TERM THIS ACADEMIC YEAR
Blinn College set a new enrollment record for the Summer II semester, thereby setting enrollment highs in each term this academic year.
Blinn’s Summer II registration total of 4,667 students was a 5.02 percent increase over last year. The College will total 326,112 contact hours, a 6.46 percent increase.
Blinn also set enrollment records in the Fall and Spring Semesters, Winter and May Minimesters, and the Summer I term. Despite the increase in enrollment for these terms, College officials have previously stated they anticipate a decrease in Fall 2020 enrollment due to COVID-19.
Registration remains open for Blinn’s Fall semester, which begins Monday, August 24th. To prepare for a Fall semester in which courses will be available online and on campus, the College has developed the Back With Blinn plan to outline the steps it is taking to keep campuses safe. Details on the plan are available at www.blinn.edu/back-with-blinn.
