The Bellville Volunteer Fire Department (BVFD) is hosting their 48th annual celebration and fundraiser on Friday, August 21st.

The event is set to begin at 5 p.m. at the Austin Co. Fairgrounds. Guests are asked to enter through the entrance on Highway 159 East.

This year’s event will feature a drive thru only meal with barbecue chicken and sausage, and will be served for $15 until meals run out.

There will also be a drawing at 9 p.m. on the day of the event. Tickets for the drawing and the meal can be bought in advance at First National Bank Bellville or Austin County State Bank drive thru.

All proceeds from the event will be used to purchase new equipment for the BVFD.
