LOCAL CRIMESTOPPERS OFFERS REWARD IN EARLY MORNING ROBBERY ATTEMPT

  

Brenham Police are searching for a suspect during an early morning attempted armed robbery, Wednesday.

Just before 5:00 a.m., police were called to the 500 block of South Baylor Street, a block west of South Market Street.

A caller told 9-1-1 that an unknown person approached him in his driveway, pointed a handgun and made demands.

The suspect then pushed the victim to the ground and fled on foot.  No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, average build, 5’10 – 6 ft, wearing a black hoodie with white face mask.

Washington County Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 cash reward for a tip resulting in the arrest or indictment of the suspect.
