J.J. WATT SAYS ‘PLAYERS NEED ANSWERS’

JJ Watt

Texans defensive end J.J. Watt has joined in with hundreds of NFL players on four calls with the NFLPA in the last two weeks, and says they still don't have "a single valid" Infections Disease Emergency Response plan.

In a Thursday afternoon Twitter post, Watt says, "We don't know if there are preseason games or not. We don't know if there will be daily testing, semi-daily testing, etc. We don't know how a potential Covid test would affect contracts, roster spots, etc. Nothing has been agreed upon regarding what training camp will actually look like and how the 'ramp up' period will work."

Rookies are scheduled to report to training camp on Saturday.

An NFL proposal sent to the NFLPA Tuesday night included two preseason games, but the union does not want any preseason games and has called for daily COVID-19 testing.

The union also wants for positive COVID-19 tests to be classified as a non-football injury.

In the interest of having everyone on the same page in terms of what we know and don’t know at this time, here are a few things I’ve learned being on four NFLPA calls in the last two weeks with hundreds of other players. Keep in mind our rookies are scheduled to report in 48 hrs

  1. Fans are sick of the NFL and viewership, attendance(even after elections), and gear sells will be WAY down!! There’s the only answer you need. As far as COVID-1984, professional athletes are at an extremely minimal risk of having any complications(much less show symptoms for that matter) from COVID-1984 and will have access to treatments that the general public will never have. I say play for the few fans left that will still watch, but I won’t!!

  2. Since Watt and the whole NFL decided to jump on the BLM bandwagon of creating more division, I don’t really care what happens with them anymore.

There is only ONE national anthem. The media and a small group of Marxist activists have been successful in creating division that did not previously exist. They have sensationalized a select few tragedies, while ignoring the ones that don’t fit their agenda. Now all the cowards are caving to their demands because they don’t want to be called names.

Boycott the NFL. Celebrities and Marxists will not be allowed to destroy the greatest country that has ever existed.
