MOTORCYCLE-TRUCK ACCIDENT SOUTH OF BRENHAM SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL

  

A motorcyclist was flown to the hospital for severe injuries after a collision with a truck Wednesday evening south of Brenham.

According to DPS, first responders were dispatched shortly before 6:30 p.m. to an accident between a motorcycle and a truck on FM 109 at Hall Road.

FM 109 was briefly closed to allow a Life Flight helicopter to land and pick up the motorcyclist.  The victim, a male, was taken to CHI St. Joseph in Bryan in critical condition.  It is unknown at this time whether the truck driver sustained injuries.

DPS worked the accident along with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Washington County Precinct One Constable's Office, volunteer firefighters, and EMS.
