WASHINGTON CO. FAIR RELEASES 2020 SHOW SCHEDULE
The Washington County Fair Association has released a schedule of events for this year’s fair, now a little over a month away.
The show schedule released this (Tuesday) morning indicates the fair will get started with the rabbit sift on Friday, September 11th. The opening weekend will continue with the rabbit show, commercial steer grading, colt show, and scramble heifer show on Saturday, September 12th, followed by the bucket calf show and carcass hog weigh-in on Sunday, September 13th.
The fair will proceed on Monday, September 14th with the lamb and goat shows, followed by the steer show on Tuesday, September 15th. On Wednesday, September 16th, the barrow and poultry shows will take place, with the commercial heifer pen show on Thursday, September 17th. The commercial heifer halter show and junior livestock sale will be held on Friday, September 18th, with the fair rounding out on Saturday, September 19th with the colt sale and commercial heifer and steer sales.
Specific times for each show were not released with this schedule. However, the Fair Association said a complete schedule with times will be posted on Thursday, including arrival times, show times, and interview times. It will also include Ag Mech and Youth Country Creations.
