NAVASOTA TO HOLD WALK-UP COVID-19 TESTING MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

  

The City of Navasota is hosting a walk-up COVID-19 testing site this week.

Testing will be available today (Monday) through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Progressive Outreach Center, located at 615 West Virginia Street.  The site is provided by the Texas Division of Emergency Management.

There is no charge to get tested, and no doctor’s note or appointment are necessary.  Those being tested are required to provide a valid ID, and are encouraged to have access to a smart phone.  Test results will be communicated via email.

Officials urge everyone looking to get tested to arrive before 4 p.m.  At that time, the testing line will close, and only those who are in line will be tested.
