COMBINED COMMUNITY ACTION TO HOLD FAN DISTRIBUTIONS
Combined Community Action, Inc. is set to distribute fans in five area counties, beginning this coming week.
The CCA, the fan drive partner of Family Eldercare, will be distributing fans to at-risk citizens in Colorado, Austin, Fayette, Bastrop and Lee counties.
To be eligible for a fan, recipients must be: over 55; or disabled and receiving disability benefits; or be in a household with children under 18 years of age. Also, recipients must have an income up to 200% of the poverty level and have a photo ID with current address.
Fans will be distributed:
Tuesday in Colorado County at Beason’s Crossing Park on US 90 in Columbus; Wednesday in Austin County at Sens Activity Center on Briar Ridge in Bellville; Thursday in Fayette County at the Second Chance Emporium on South Reynolds in LaGrange; Tuesday, August 25th, in Bastop County at the Bastrop Food Pantry on Fayette St. in Bastrop; and Wednesday, August 26th, in Lee County at the Lexington UMC on North Rockdale St. in Lexington.
Each of the giveaways will run from 10:00 a.m. to noon—or until the fans are gone.
