Levi was one of four men arrested for a November 2018 shooting incident at the Valero Station on Highway 105 in Brenham.  No one was struck by the gunfire following a dance at the American Legion Hall that evening.

Levi was also fined $1,000, ordered to perform 300 hours community service, ordered to spend 180 days in the Washington County Jail, and have no contact with the victim, criminal street gangs, or with co- defendants in this case.

30-year old Francisco Javier Lopez of Brenham was sentenced to 91 days in the Washington County Jail for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member – a Class A Misdemeanor.

Also in District Court this week, after a hearing, the Court granted judicial clemency for Michael Wayne Robinson, who pleaded guilty in September of 2010 to Arson with a charge of Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon taken into consideration.

In October of 2016, the Court found after a hearing on a Motion to Revoke that Robinson committed the new offense of Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath, but left Robinson on probation.

The Court, over the State’s objection, has allowed Robinson to withdraw his plea and dismissed the case against him.
