NO INJURIES IN SHOOTING INCIDENT AT BRENHAM GAS STATION SATURDAY NIGHT
No injuries were reported after a Saturday night shooting incident at a Brenham convenience store.
Police responded to reports of a discharge of a firearm around 9 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Day Street, near the BK Food Mart next to the Little Caesars Pizza.
Brenham Police Sergeant Jason Derrick confirmed there was property damage at the site, but no injuries were reported. Reports on social media indicate the suspect shot the ice storage machine outside the store, although Derrick could not confirm this information. He does not believe anyone was targeted in the incident.
No arrests have been made at this time, but Derrick said investigators do have some leads in the ongoing case. He said police intend to release more information once an arrest is made.
