BRENHAM BOOK FEST SUNDAY AT ANT STREET INN BALLROOM
IN-PERSON, VIRTUAL, LOW-CONTACT ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE
Book enthusiasts can look forward to this weekend’s fourth annual Brenham Book Fest.
From noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Ant Street Inn Ballroom, attendees will be able to meet authors and book sellers while shopping from various book-related vendors.
Due to COVID-19, this year’s event will feature in-person, virtual, and low-contact options.
Visitors with a mask will be invited into the ballroom to visit with local authors and purchase their books. They can also purchase used books from the Fortnightly Club of Brenham, get face paintings, win door prizes, and take part in a scavenger hunt in downtown Brenham from 4 to 6 p.m. Event t-shirts will be on sale to support the Brenham Little Free Library Fund, providing Little Free Libraries at City of Brenham parks.
For those who may not be comfortable attending in person, Facebook Live interviews with each participating author will be posted throughout the afternoon. People can also order books online from the author’s websites, and pre-order Book Fest bundles that will be available for curbside pickup the day of the event.
Admission to the event is free.
