AUSTIN CO. 4-H HOLDS AWARDS BANQUET

The youth of Austin County 4-H were recently recognized at the organization’s annual awards banquet.
Over 80 people attended the banquet on August 22nd, sponsored by the Parents and Leaders Association, to commemorate the work local 4-Hers put into their projects, contests, and activities.
Project participation awards were presented, the State and National Champion Livestock Quiz Bowl Teams were honored, and Star Awards were given to deserving individuals.
The 2019-20 4-H Award winners included:
- Rising Star Award – Kaesee Brune & Luke Malinowski
- Bronze Star Award – Grace Lischka
- Silver Star Award – Skye Youngblood
- Gold Star Award – Hudson Ham & Kylee Svinky
- Leader of the Year Award – Cassie Malinowski, Welcome 4-H & Swine Project Leader
- Friend of 4-H Award – SCS Construction & Corey Jackson with Air Installation and Service LLC (not pictured below)
