LOCAL OFFICES CLOSED FOR LABOR DAY

  

In observance of Labor Day, several offices across Brenham and Washington County are closed today (Monday).

Brenham City Hall and the Washington County Courthouse are closed, along with Brenham Municipal Court, Pet Adoption and Animal Services, the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library, and the Blue Bell Aquatic Center.  Fall hours for the Aquatic Center begin tomorrow (Tuesday).

The Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station is still open for regular hours.  Residential and commercial trash pickup will proceed as normal.

The Brenham and Washington County Visitor Center is open today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The offices of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative are also closed today, but members can still access their account information and make payments through the co-op’s website at www.bluebonnet.coop.

Members can also report power outages through the website, as well as through the co-op’s mobile app or by calling 800-949-4414.  Should an outage occur, Bluebonnet personnel will be on call to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
