Washington County firefighters honored the 19th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks this (Friday) morning by climbing the stands at Cub Stadium.

Members of the Brenham and Berlin Fire Departments kitted up in firefighting gear and climbed the equivalent of 110 stories, the height of each of the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City.

Nearly 3,000 people were killed in the attacks, with over 6,000 others injured.
