BRYAN MAN ARRESTED ON CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CHARGES

A Bryan man faces charges after his arrest on child pornography charges.
22-year old Preston Smith was arrested at his home after state authorities say they found child pornography in his Cloud storage.
The Texas Attorney General’s Criminal Investigations Division launched an investigation after they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children via a Cyber Tipline Report.
Authorities went to Smith’s home and arrested him on three counts of possession of child pornography.
Investigators say his Cloud storage account contained more than 1600 pornographic images and say many of them were child pornography.
According to online records, Preston remains jailed on bonds totaling $36,000.
