COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS MUSEUM CONTRACT, TUESDAY

  

 

Washington County Commissioners are expected to vote on a community service contract between the county and the Brenham Heritage Museum when they meet Tuesday morning.

The contract would require the county to administer and annually provide $2000 a year to the Brenham Heritage Museum which would be used to preserve and display the heritage of Washington County.

Also at Tuesday’s meeting, the court will vote on approval of an agreement between the county government and the Brazos Valley Council of Government Transportation Partnership Program for transportation services for residents of Washington County.

Also on Tuesday’s agenda, Commissioners will discuss the proclamation of Oct. 4-10 as Texas Extension Education Association Week.

An agreement with GrantWorks Inc. for project delivery services for the County Transportation Infrastructure Fund 2020 grant program.

And approval of a resolution supporting the efforts of Washington County to execute restoration of the county courthouse.

Commissioners will meet at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday at the Courthouse Annex.
