TWENTY-FOUR INDICTED BY LOCAL GRAND JURY

  

 

Gamarcus Sheppard (Washington Co. Jail)

A Brenham man, who was indicted back in July, has been arrested on a slew of family violence charges.

24-year old Gamarcus Dewayne Sheppard, of Brenham, was charged back on July 21st for: Assault of a Pregnant Person; Assault of a Family member Impede Breath/Circulation; and Endangering a Child from May of this year.  Also, Assault of a Pregnant Person; Endangering a Child; and Injury to a Child from June of this year.

Twenty-four people have been indicted in the latest session of the Washington County Grand Jury.

The latest indictments include:

25-year old Clifton Middel Benson II, of Somerville, on two counts of Forgery/Government/Securities and three charges of Fraudulent Use/Identifying Information.

31-year old Rosevelt Lamar Davis of Houston, Theft Between $25,000-and-$30,000.

31-year old Alex Garcia of Melvindale, Michigan, on two counts of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Evading Arrest with a Vehicle.

44-year old Tanisha Trinette Johnson of Brenham, Theft Property/Less Than $2500, With two or More Previous Convictions.

39-year old Early Jerome Newsome of Brenham, Theft of Property/Less than $2500, with two or More Previous Convictions.

35-year old Marcus Rayford of Brenham for Assault Family Violence, with a Previous Conviction.

Six people have been indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance, including: 25-year old Joseph Thomas Doino of Brenham; 23-year old Ramiro Morales of Houston; 26-year old Tony Sylanderfort Morris, Jr. of Houston; 38-year old Damien Marquet Palmer of San Antonio; 34-year old Bobby Charles Ragston, Jr. of Brenham; and, 25-year old Cory Alan Snyder of Katy.

Also released were the names of several people who were previously indicted and have since been arrested, including:

75-year old Michael Warren Redman of Brenham,injury to Elderly/Criminal Negligence.

59-year old Clarence Williams, Jr., of Washington, Assault Family Violence with a Previous Conviction.
