BURTON POSTPONES HOMECOMING GAME–RESCHEDULES REST OF SEASON

  

Burton High School has rescheduled its Homecoming Football game with Bartlett, scheduled for this Friday evening.

Last Friday, the Panthers' game at Somerville was also postponed at the last minute  due to COVID-19 concerns.

Here is the official release from the Burton ISD:

After consultation among administration and local health officials, and in accordance with health and safety protocols of the Centers for Disease Control, Burton Independent School District has cancelled the Burton High School varsity football game against Bartlett High School scheduled for October 16, 2020. Due to confidentiality requirements, Burton ISD can release no further information at this time. Burton ISD steadfastly prioritizes the health and safety of its student-athletes, as well as the entire Panther community.
