LOCAL MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT

Brenham Police have arrested a local man over the weekend on an assault charge.
55-year old Gorey Burns of Brenham was taken into custody Saturday, after police were called to the 300 block of Lois Wright Circle.
Burns was charged with Assault of a Family or Household Member with a Previous Conviction, and taken to the Washington County Jail.
