WENDY YATES, R. HAL MOORMAN NAMED TO 2020 TEXAS SUPER LAWYERS LIST
A pair of partners from a Brenham law firm have again been recognized among the state’s premier lawyers.

R. Hal Moorman and Wendy Yates, partners with Moorman Tate, LLP, have each been selected by their peers for inclusion in the 2020 Texas Super Lawyers list. The two were recognized in the area of estate planning and probate law.
Each year, no more than five percent of lawyers in the state are selected to receive the honor.
Moorman is a Texas board certified attorney in estate planning, probate law, and civil trial law. He has been named to the list each year since Super Lawyers’ inception in 2003.

Yates is board certified in estate planning and probate law. This is her fifth consecutive year to be named to the list. She was also named to the Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2009.
Earlier this year, fellow partner Andy Hefferly was named to the Rising Stars list, also in the field of estate planning and probate law.
Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
