WASHINGTON MAN SENTENCED TO PROBATION FOR 2019 STABBING
A Washington County man has been placed on six years’ probation after a 2019 stabbing in Old Washington.
26-year old Kenneth Ray Armstead was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – a Second Degree Felony, after he allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times during a confrontation on Washington Bridge Road on February 18th of 2019.
Armstead was also fined $1500 dollars, must perform 250 hours of community service and attend anger management classes.
Also in 21st District Court:
75-year old Kenneth Wayne Renner of Brenham, was placed on six years’ probation for a 2018 case of Injury to a Child – a Third Degree Felony.
Renner was also fined $1000 and must perform 100 hours of community service. He must also have no contact with the victim.
38-year old Tony Kyle Bowser of Austin; 36-year old Ashley Shevon Crawford of Somerville; and 19-year old Keaton Farrell of Brenham each received three years’ probation for charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony. Each was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.
And, 29-year old Charles Gregory Blanco Jr. of Houston was placed on two years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also fined $500 and must perform 200 hours of community service.
