HEMPSTEAD MAN CHARGED WITH COLLEGE STATION BANK ROBBERY

A Hempstead man has been arrested after College Station police reported a bank robbery, Friday afternoon.
According to police, the suspect displayed a gun during a bank robbery at The Bank and Trust of College Station, at Texas Avenue and Manuel Drive around 12:30 p.m.
19-year old Ondre Dwayne Green was quickly located by police with a handgun and money from the bank. Police say Green admitted to the robbery.
CSPD says no one was injured during the robbery.
Green is being held in the Brazos County Jail on a charge of Aggravated Robbery, a first-degree felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison.
