FORMER BRENHAM FIRE MARSHAL, DEPUTY FIRE CHIEF ALAN FINKE DIES
A longtime officer with the Brenham Fire Department has died.
Alan Finke died Sunday at the age of 66.
Finke retired from the Brenham Fire Department in 2015, serving as the department’s fire marshal and deputy fire chief.
Finke’s 39-year career with the fire department began when he joined as a volunteer in 1976, before being officially hired in April 1978.
Visitation will be held Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Services will follow on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Washington County Event Center.
