BURLESON CO. CHAMBER HOSTING HUNTER’S WIFE WEEKEND SATURDAY

A full day of shopping and music is in store tomorrow (Saturday) in downtown Caldwell and Somerville.

The annual Hunter’s Wife Weekend invites anyone not interested in heading out to the deer lease to visit participating businesses from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for sales, along with wine and snack samples.

The theme for this year’s event, which is being hosted by the Burleson County Chamber of Commerce, is “Mariachis & Máscaras.”  The Aggieland Mariachi Band will provide entertainment.

Ticketholders will be given a passport that grants access to sample drinks and snacks while shopping.  Anyone who visits all participating locations and gets their passport filled out will be entered into a grand prize drawing at the Old Post Office in Caldwell at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $25 and include the passport, along with a souvenir wine glass and mask.  Glasses and passports can be picked up the day of the event starting at 10 a.m. at Home and Ranch Real Estate, located in Caldwell at 200 East Buck Street.

Transportation will be provided.  Businesses will be enforcing social distancing inside their shops.

Souvenir t-shirts and more information are available online at www.burlesoncountytx.com.
