LOCAL OFFICES CLOSED FOR THANKSGIVING

  

Several offices across Brenham and Washington County are closed today (Thursday) in celebration of Thanksgiving.

Brenham City Hall and the Washington County Courthouse will be closed today and tomorrow (Friday), in addition to Brenham Municipal Court and Pet Adoption and Animal Services.

The Blue Bell Aquatic Center and Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library will be closed today through Sunday.

The Brenham and Washington County Visitor Center will be closed today, but will reopen tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station will also be closed today and reopen tomorrow.

No residential or commercial trash pick-up will take place today.  Residential pick-up will occur tomorrow, while commercial pick-up will occur within 48 hours from today.

The offices of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative will also be closed today and tomorrow, but members can still access their account information and make payments through the co-op’s website at www.bluebonnet.coop.

Members can also report power outages through the website, through the co-op’s mobile app, or by calling 800-949-4414.  Should an outage occur, Bluebonnet personnel will be on call to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
