“GRACE” NAMED PET OF THE WEEK

  

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Grace” as its Pet of the Week.

Grace is a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix, about two to three years old.  Brenham Animal Services staff say she arrived at the shelter a tad underweight, but has been gaining weight slowly and healthily.  They say she has a quiet demeanor and good manners on a leash, and while she shows interest in toys and balls, she loves people.

Staff say Grace is vaccinated and waiting for her spay appointment, after which she will be available for adoption.

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center remains closed to visitors, but anyone interested in adopting or fostering a pet can still see the shelter’s available pets online at www.petfinder.com.  Appointments to meet a pet can be set up by calling 979-337-7351, or by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page.  Appointments are being taken Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
