PRESIDENT-ELECT CHOOSES TWO WITH AREA UNIVERSITY TIES FOR WHITE HOUSE COMMUNICATIONS POSTS

  

 

Elizabeth Alexander

President-elect Joe Biden will have an all-female senior communications team in his White House – including two women who graduated from area universities.

Biden campaign communications director Kate Bedingfield will serve as Biden’s White House communications director. Jen Psaki, a longtime Democratic spokeswoman, will be his press secretary.

Ashley Etienne

Also, two women with local university ties will serve in White House communications roles:

Elizabeth Alexander is a Texas native who graduated from Texas A&M University and Georgetown University Law Center. She will serve as Communications Director for First Lady Jill Biden.

Ashley Etienne will serve as Communications Director for Vice President Kamala Harris. Originally from Texas, Etienne is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and Johns Hopkins University.
