FM 60 RAILROAD BRIDGE IN DEANVILLE CLOSED AFTER 18-WHEELER COLLISION
The railroad bridge on FM 60 in Deanville will be closed for most of today (Thursday) after an accident involving an 18-wheeler early this morning.
According to Highway Patrol Sergeant Justin Stohler, an 18-wheeler driving southbound on FM 60 shortly after 4:15 a.m. collided with the center columns of the bridge, causing significant damage to them.
Soon after, a northbound SUV hit the disabled 18-wheeler in the roadway.
There have been no reports of injuries.
Sgt. Stohler said railroad crews will be at the bridge making repairs into the evening.
