WASHINGTON CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE CONTINUING SEARCH FOR MAN REPORTED MISSING IN 1998

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in searching for a man who has not been seen for nearly 23 years.

The Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley has spotlighted the case of Orville Turner Seaton, who was reported missing by his daughter on January 3, 1998.

Seaton, who was 71 years old at the time, was last seen on December 23, 1997 by a grocery store employee in Navasota.  The employee told law enforcement he saw Seaton get into a gray four-door car with a young black male.

Seaton is described as a black male, approximately 5’10” and 170 pounds.  He would currently be 94 years old.

Law enforcement believes that people in the local area may know about what happened to Seaton and are asking for information that can help resolve this case.  Anyone who can potentially assist in the effort is asked to call the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at 979-277-6251.

The Amber Alert Network of Brazos Valley says this is one of over a dozen long-term missing person cases that are active in the Brazos Valley.
