ST. PETER’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH CANCELS IN-PERSON SERVICES, CLOSES OFFICES DUE TO COVID-19

  

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Brenham has cancelled in-person worship services, including this week’s Christmas service, and is closing church offices to the public for several weeks after reporting positive COVID-19 cases in the parish.

In a letter to parishioners, the church said there are currently three positive cases within the parish.  Two of those cases were present at the 10:30 a.m. service on December 20^th.

In lieu of a live service, the church will record a Lessons and Carols service for Christmas Eve.  The church plans to have it uploaded for viewing online by 7 p.m. that evening.

No one other than office staff and workers will be allowed to enter church buildings until further notice.
