TWO LOCAL MEN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

Two Brenham men have been charged after a Monday afternoon traffic stop.
Shortly after 3:00 p.m., local police conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of East Academy.

During the stop, the driver, 19-year-old Luke Smith of Brenham and the passenger, 20-year-old Ralph Kallie, also of Brenham, were taken into custody.
Each is charged with Possession of Marijuana Between Four-Ounces and Five Pounds.
Both were taken to the Washington County Jail.
