FIRE DESTROYS LOCAL TRAILER HOME
A Washington County home is a total loss after a devastating fire, Wednesday night.
Firefighters were called to the 2400 block of FM 2679, just off US Highway 290 West of Brenham, just before 9:00 p.m.
At the scene, they found a double-wide trailer home fully engulfed in flames.
Units from Berlin, Brenham, Salem, Gay Hill, Chappell Hill and Rocky Creek all responded to the scene, but the home was a complete loss.
There were no reported injuries due to the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
