WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS MEETING TUESDAY CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF QUORUM

Today’s (Tuesday) meeting of Washington County Commissioners Court has been cancelled.

The office of County Judge John Durrenberger made the announcement this morning, saying the meeting will not be held due to the lack of a quorum.

Update @ 11:15 a.m.: The county judge’s office declined to elaborate on the reason for why there was the lack of a quorum when asked for further information, but it is believed to be related to COVID-19.

A special commissioners meeting has been scheduled for Friday at 11 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse Annex.  The only action item on the agenda is the approval of accounts payable.
