BRENHAM’S FIRST BABY OF 2021 BORN

Washington County welcomes the first baby born in 2021.
Tuesday at 6:16 a.m., Marco Monarca III was born to parents Marco Monarca and Aerial Davis at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Brenham.
Marco III, who was delivered by Dr. Vanessa Sarfoh, weighed 5 lbs. 15 oz. and measured 20 inches at birth.
Both parents said they were surprised to hear that they had the first baby born in Brenham this year.
When asked what they are most excited about with their new child, Aerial said she wants Marco III to experience things and go places she was never able to, while Marco said he was most excited that the boy was named after him.
