BRENHAM MAIFEST SERENADE SET FOR SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT HOHLT PARK

  

After a year off due to COVID-19, the 2021 Brenham Maifest is set to move forward, as festivities get underway Sunday.

The 131^st Brenham Maifest Serenade is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Dr. Bobbie Dietrich Memorial Amphitheatre at Hohlt Park.

Special recognition will be held for the 130^th Brenham Maifest royalty, who will then introduce the new Maifest courts.

The 130^th Junior Maifest Court, Queen Harper Joy Huckert and King Tieman Ty Henry Dippel IV, will announce the 131^st Junior Maifest Court Royalty.

The 130^th Senior Maifest Court, Queen Annie Elizabeth Clepper and King Cole Ragonis, will introduce the 131^st Senior Maifest Court Royalty.

In addition to the announcement of the 2021 Maifest courts and this years’ themes, there will be a performance by the Brenham High School Band.  Activities for Maifest weekend will also be announced.

Maifest Association President Catherine Kenjura noted that these plans are subject to change with COVID-19.  Updates will be posted on the Brenham Maifest Facebook page.
