BRENHAM MAIFEST SERENADE SET FOR SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT HOHLT PARK

  

 

After a year off due to COVID-19, the 2021 Brenham Maifest is set to move forward, as festivities get underway Sunday.

The 131st Brenham Maifest Serenade is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Dr. Bobbie Dietrich Memorial Amphitheatre at Hohlt Park.

Special recognition will be held for the 130th Brenham Maifest royalty, who will then introduce the new Maifest courts.

The 130th Junior Maifest Court, Queen Harper Joy Huckert and King Tieman Ty Henry Dippel IV, will announce the 131st Junior Maifest Court Royalty.

The 130th Senior Maifest Court, Queen Annie Elizabeth Clepper and King Cole Ragonis, will introduce the 131st Senior Maifest Court Royalty.

In addition to the announcement of the 2021 Maifest courts and this years’ themes, there will be a performance by the Brenham High School Band.  Activities for Maifest weekend will also be announced.

Maifest Association President Catherine Kenjura noted that these plans are subject to change with COVID-19.  Updates will be posted on the Brenham Maifest Facebook page.

KWHI will broadcast the Maifest Serenade live, starting at 2 p.m.
