BRENHAM GAMECHANGERS ‘PURSE BINGO’ RAISES $32,000
Tens of thousands of dollars were raised for local youth Thursday night at the Brenham GameChangers’ 3rd Annual “Purse Bingo.”
Approximately 275 guests made their way to the Fireman’s Training Center to play to win over 40 designer purses through bingo games and a virtual drawing.
Estimates from Brenham GameChangers show the event raised a net amount of $32,000 to support Pre-K through 12th grade students in Brenham and Washington County through scholarships, events, and character education.
A total of 300 tickets were sold for this year’s event in order to keep under 50 percent of the venue’s 800-person capacity.
