WASHINGTON CO. CHAMBER/BRENHAM EDF AWARDS BANQUET TO BE HELD AS INVITE-ONLY CEREMONY, LUNCHEON
The annual Washington County Chamber of Commerce and Brenham Economic Development Foundation awards banquet will take on a much different look this year.
Instead of being held as a gathering at the Fireman’s Training Center, the event will take place as a private, invite-only awards ceremony and luncheon with virtual elements on February 16th.
The awards ceremony will be held at Unity Theatre at 10:30 a.m., and will feature the recognition of outgoing board members, as well as the announcement of the Blue Blazer of the Year and Small Business of the Year.
The 2020 Man and Woman of the Year will not be announced to the public until the luncheon at Ant Street Inn at 12:30 p.m. The Chamber encourages the public to get lunch from a local restaurant and tune in to the Chamber's YouTube channel at that time, when a video featuring the presentation of the awards to the winners will be posted.
KWHI will broadcast the awards ceremony beginning at 10:30 a.m., and will announce the winners of the Man and Woman of the Year awards at the time they are announced in the YouTube video.
