KWHI TO AIR AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH PROGRAMS FEBRUARY 8-12
February is African American History Month, and KWHI will celebrate with a series of programs featuring Brenham High School students.
Monday through Friday, February 8-12, listeners are invited to tune in to KWHI’s morning and evening newscasts to hear students present short, informative programs on important people and historic moments in African American history.
The programs will air at 7:46 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. on KWHI AM 1280, FM 101.7, and kwhi.com.
The programs are sponsored by Allen Dave Funeral Home, Brenham National Bank, Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, BRIANNAS Salad Dressing, Budweiser—Mike Hopkins Distributing, Citizens State Bank, Evvaylois Academy School of Beauty, Moore Services, and Simply Wright Fitness.
