NEW ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM OPENS FOR TIERS 1A, 1B AT subHUB
The Regional Vaccination subHUB at the Washington County Expo has launched a new pre-registration system.
Last week, the subHUB announced it would be moving to the SafeRestart Vaccine Platform from telephone pre-registration. A small test group was used to ensure the efficiency of the new platform, which is now open to any Texas resident in the 1A and 1B vaccination tiers.
The system can be accessed at https://wacounty.saferestart.net/.
Anyone who was scheduled to receive their second vaccine dose today (Wednesday) has had their appointment moved to Monday, February 22. Appointment times will remain the same. If there are additional changes or updates, residents with appointments will receive an automated message with instructions.

I need to print out the form I need to bring with me for my first covid shot tomorrow. Im told Ican print it ahead of time and won’t have tp fill it out there. I don’t know where to find the form. Thank You Lynda Wheeler
I received my first shot on February 2 and was handed a card with that shot notification. There is no return date listed for second shot. How am I to proceed to ensure I can get the shot?
The card is issued for you to have proof or verification that you have received your first and second vaccines. I think that for the Moderna product, there is a 28 to 34-day “wait” at which time you would receive your second vaccine. I may be wrong on the days, so you would need to contact a healthcare professional. The second space on the card will be filled out when you are vaccinated with the booster; the site from which you received your first vaccination, will have a record of that and should contact you. However, with things as they are, I would be proactive and contact them as the time nears.
You will receive a phone call and a text message shortly before your 2nd shot date telling you the date and time of your next scheduled shot. I just got my notice last week and I will be getting my 2nd shot on Monday.
