WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS EMS HELICOPTER HANGAR AT TUESDAY’S MEETING
Washington County Commissioners will discuss the hangar for the EMS helicopter when they meet Tuesday morning.
Commissioners will face basically the same agenda they were looking at before last week’s meeting was postponed due to the weather.
Commissioners will look to approve a contract between the county and contractor Michael Thielemann, after accepting his bid of $305,610 for completion of the facility at their February meeiting.
The hangar is located at the Washington Volunteer Fire Department. Back in October, commissioners approved an agreement to utilize the hangar to store the EMS helicopter.
Commissioners will also consider a line-item transfer from Indigent to Faith Mission for $3,200 per month, beginning this month. Faith Mission was previously approved as director of operations for the Health and Services Center.
Also at Tuesday’s meeting, the court will consider:
- Formal notice from Corix Utilities, Inc. NEWCWS for a two-inch road bore at 2848 Deer Road for a new water line located in Precinct One.
- A final plat for the Valley View subdivision development fronting Marshall Lane and Pawlak Lane in Precinct Two.
- Formal notice from Suddenlink/Altice USA for a proposed utility installation of aerial and underground cable television lines on Allen Road, New Years Creek Lane and Old Navasota Road in Precinct One.
- A merchant application and ACH origination agreement terms and conditions.
- Renewal bonds for reserve deputy sheriffs Justin Knuppel and Damon Wegner.
- Monthly reports from the Sheriff’s Office, Washington County E911, and the veterans service officer.
Commissioners will meet Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse Annex.
