SUE PINKERTON DROPS OUT OF BURTON SCHOOL BOARD RACE

One of the four candidates seeking election this spring to the Burton School Board has dropped out of the race.
Sue Pinkerton has withdrawn her candidacy from the board election set for May 1st.
Pinkerton, who also ran for election in May 2019 and November 2020, said other obligations have come up that she wanted to take care of, and she does not feel she would have time to pursue both the board and those obligations.
The race is now between incumbent David Warner, Sr., Boris Jumper, Sr., and Brian Hinze for two at-large trustee positions on the ballot.
